Who Is Your Labor Hero?

The House Education and Labor Committee decided to highlight Labor Heroes of the Members. Here is the blog post explaining what they are doing - http://edlabor.house.gov/blog/2009/09/news-of-the-day-labor-heroes.shtml -

The Committee would like to acknowledge individuals who best exemplify the qualities celebrated on Labor Day.

All throughout the day, Members of the Committee will be posting stories about their Labor Heroes.

These Labor Heroes come from all walks of life and have positively impacted their families, neighbors, and friends. We want to highlight the many numerous folks out there working to improve life for working Americans and to counter this anti-labor agenda conservatives are pushing.

We encouraged readers to share their Labor Hero in the comments or on Twitter with the hashtag #LaborHero. It is already taking off - http://search.twitter.com/search?q=%23LaborHero

Rep. Sestak and Rep. Hare have been posted with more to follow this afternoon.Let me know if you have any further questions.

Cheers,
