Tribune Execs Threw Poker Party While Newspapers Crumbled

By Pandora Young

Tribune execs didn't let gutted newsrooms and the company's bankruptcy keep them from turning the historical offices of former Tribune owner Col. Robert R. McCormick into their own personal Las Vegas. The pictures showed up on the Facebook page of John D. Phillips, the Tribune Tower building manager, and appear to be about a year old. Top executives pictured include CEO Randy Michaels, senior vice president and chief Whackadoodle Lee Abrams, president of Tribune Interactive Marc Chase, and program director of Tribune news/talk WGN-AM (720) Kevin Metheny.

It doesn't matter who's winning. They're all rich.
